Confronting Your Own Death

“The great secret of death, and perhaps its deeper connection with us, is this: that, in taking from us a being we have loved and venerated, death does not wound us without, at the same time, lifting us toward a more perfect understanding of this being and of ourselves.”
– Rilke

You can not escape death.

You can not escape the fact that those you love will die.

You can not escape that you too will die.

Death belongs to life.

Facing death makes us more alive.

Right now, if you are reading this, then you are alive.

SO LIVE.

Live the life that you are destined to live.  Live the life you are meant to live.

Live Your Life Like It Were A Song

Now...What if your life WERE a song.
What song would it be?
How would it sound?
What would the melody be?
What would the beat be?
What would the refrain be?
How would it start?
How would it end?
Would the song be remembered?
Would the song be a hit?
Would the song be classic?

Would the song be written?

Would the song be sung?

Are you living your life like a song?

There is a song that wants to sing through you...

Be Open...Let the World Hear it.

You can't sing another's song, you have to sing your own.

YOU HAVE TO FIND IT, LIVE IT , BE IT.

Once you allow the song that wants to be sung through you, then and only then, will you understand what Rainer Maria Rilke, a poet, wrote ....death does not wound us, without at the same time lifting us towards a more perfect understanding of this being and of ourselves...

When You Sing Your Song

You Will Sour Like An Eagle

Then when death does overtake you (and it will), You are ready, You've lived
